These are the rules for using Mirari. We’ve tried to keep them short and plain.
1. Using Mirari
Mirari gives you personal style guidance (your colour season, face shape and the colours, makeup, hair and frames that tend to suit them) on our website, and a Chrome extension that checks colours on shopping sites as you browse. By creating an account or using Mirari you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Mirari.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 to use Mirari. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us through our contact page if you think someone else has used it.
3. Guidance, not guarantees
Colour analysis is an art as much as a science. Our seasons, verdicts and suggestions are opinions meant to help you choose. They are not professional advice, and they can be wrong. A photograph’s lighting, your screen and a retailer’s product images all change how colours look.
Every decision to buy something is yours. Please check a product’s details and return policy with the retailer before you buy.
4. Retailers and other websites
Mirari does not sell products. The extension works on other companies’ websites, and links take you straight to the retailer. We are not affiliated with those retailers, we don’t earn commission from them, and we are not responsible for their products, prices, websites or policies.
5. Acceptable use
Please don’t misuse Mirari. That includes trying to access other people’s accounts or data, interfering with or overloading the service, copying or scraping it in bulk, reverse-engineering it except where the law allows, or using it for anything unlawful.
6. Your content
Items you save, outfits you create and messages you send remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them to you so that Mirari can work. Photos you analyse stay on your device and are never uploaded.
7. Our content
The Mirari name, logo, design, text, palettes and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use of Mirari, and not otherwise without our permission.
8. Changes and availability
Mirari is currently free. We may add, change or remove features, introduce paid plans (always optional, and never without telling you first), or pause the service. We will try to give notice of significant changes, but we can’t promise Mirari will always be available or error-free.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Mirari at any time and ask us to delete your account through our contact page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
10. Disclaimer
Mirari is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that it will meet your needs or that its guidance is accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Mirari is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for purchases you make from retailers, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months and US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, and any dispute will be handled in its courts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
13. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms we will change the date at the top of this page, and tell you about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Mirari after that means you accept the new terms.
